BBA's path studies are intended for those interested in international business and whose goal is a Bachelor's degree.
The Bachelor of Business Administration, International Business programme aims to develop global business experts with a specialisation in foreign trade and in the internationalisation process of businesses.BBA graduates are valuable assets to small- and medium-sized companies going global. Our BBAs work in import-export operations, marketing, international sales, customer care, and other international activities.
Our programme prepares you to face the continuous changing environment in the global business field and to be sensitive to the requirements set by international partners. You will learn how to operate fluently in multicultural environments and how to lead your team towards reaching specific objectives.
Objectives
The goal of the path studies of the Open UAS is to complete at least 60 credits of the degree program. After that, you can flexibly apply for the right to study for a degree and continue your studies in the same group as a degree student.
Contents
The path studies consist of the curriculum of the degree program, mainly the first year of studies. The studies are completed with a group of degree students. Get acquainted with the degree program, curriculum and course descriptions.
Implementation
The studies start on September 2, 2021 in Kuopio. Details will be provided in the invitation letter in August. Education is a full-time study, consisting of studying in a group, independent and online environment, practical work and development tasks. The studies make extensive use of electronic materials, services and learning environments, so the student must have his or her own laptop. Studying requires a goal-oriented approach. The student commits to full-time study, study goals and study schedules. Part of the studies are independent of time and place.
Tuition fee
The annual fee is € 250 and it gives the right to study for 12 months.
The tuition fee is paid upon registration.
Study benefits
Studying at the Open UAS does not entitle to a study grant or study social benefits. If you are an unemployed jobseeker, negotiate your studies with the TE-Services before enrolling for the studies. If you are employed and on study leave, you can receive adult education allowances from the Employment Fund if the other conditions are met.
Enrolment and cancellation terms
Binding enrolment period takes place on 2.8. - 8.8.2021. Enrolment starts on 2.8. at 9.00 and the study places will be filled in the order of enrolment. See the privacy statement for how and where the information you provide on the enrolment form will be used.
- Enrolment for studies at the Open UAS is always binding. The registrant accepts the cancellation terms when enrolling.
- A student of the Open UAS is granted the right to study limited in time and content. The right to study cannot be exchanged for other studies or transferred to the next academic year.
- If you cancel or interrupt your studies, the fee will not be refunded. The fee will only be refunded if Savonia University of Applied Sciences cancels the education.
