The course is suitable e.g. for those who have completed Bachelor's degree, who aim to get a Master's degree and for those who need more knowledge. This course included in curriculum of Master's Degree Programme in Energy Engineering.

Objectives
The goal of this period is to help managers and specialists to plan, implement and sustain state of the art supply chain strategy and operations. Supply chain management includes all the activities to move materials, services, money, and information across the supply chain, in a way, which maximizes the effectiveness of the whole chain. SCM includes coordination and collaboration with channel partners, suppliers, intermediaries, third party service providers, and customers.
The period presents the mission, coordination of value adding business processes and activities with and across marketing, sales, product design, finance, and strategies needed to achieve superior performance and competitiveness by integrated supply chain management.

- Logistics and Supply Chain Administration, Organization, Planning, Costing and Prizing, Control and Performance Measurement, and development

Implementation
Course begins on 1 September 2021 and ends on 31 December 2021. Introductory and stimulating lectures and exercises in Moodle, team project or seminar work.

Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations

Enrolment and registaration
The enrolment begins on 2 August and ends on 25 August 2021. The study places will be filled in the order of enrolment. See the privacy statement for how and where the information you provide on the enrolment form will be used.
Enrolment in open studies is always binding. A student of the Open UAS is granted the right to study limited in time and content. The right to study cannot be exchanged for other studies or transferred to the next academic year.

Studying at the Open UAS does not entitle to a study grant or study social benefits. If you are an unemployed jobseeker, negotiate your studies with the TE-Services before enrolling for the studies. If you are employed and on study leave, you can receive adult education allowances from the Employment Fund if the other conditions are met.
